From Grand Design e-Government Peter was Consortium Consultant Program Director for a major e-Government initiative in Bedfordshire in the UK; working to the mandates of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, i.e. BV157, Priority Outcomes, and Lord Gershon’s ‘Releasing Resources to the Front Line’. He directed a large portfolio of business and technical projects covering marketing and sustainability; business change; service and performance improvement, shared services, and a comprehensive portfolio of technical IT and telecommunications projects. These included implementing a branded portal with transactional capabilities, content re-purposing; collaborative information management CIM with EDRMS and e-Learning; novel mediated service centres, kiosks, broadband and Wifi zones, smart cards, data repositories, etc. He has also consulted on e-Government transformation and service level improvement at Liverpool City Council, Barnsley MBC for BT. Peter has also worked on e-procurement and tendering in the UK and in Qatar. He has 12+ years of international experience consulting and directing the delivery of similar Pan-Government e-projects for land, property, and network related transactions based around the integration possibilities afforded by spatial or location based services.
